Shrub 2-3 m high; shoots pale. Leaves membranous. Corolla bright yellow, 4.5-5 cm long to apex of lower lip; limb ± irregular, the lower 3 lobes directed forwards, c. 1 x 1.5 cm, round, whereas upper 2 lobes ± backwards directed and of similar size and shape. Nectar lines faint.
