Tall rain forest, small canopy gap.
Notes:
Small understorey tree about 3m high. Leaves deep shining green, some much larger than on specimen. Inflorescence pinkish-purple, including outside of perianth, more or less pendent. Perianth 1-1.2cm long on bud, narrow cylindric, at anthesis segments white inside and strongly revolute. Scattered.
