Notes:
Tree 3-4 m high, dense habit. Trunk stout and gnarled. Leaves pinkish when very young, later glossy dark green above, much paler beneath; veins impressed above; intramarginal vein very distinct beneath. This species may be introduced to 'Erua. Sterile.
