Notes:
Tree 5-6 m high, with very stout gnarled trunk; branches widespreading, forming a dense canopy. Young shoots either flattened with rounded sides or quadrangular and semi-winged. Young leaves shining reddish-brown above, very pale below, mature leaves very coriaceous, dark green above. Sterile. Isolated tree.
