Notes:
Small semi-prostrate herbs with fairly stout rootstocks. Leaves glaucous beneath, dull dark green above. Capitula 1-1.5 mm across; gland appendages white, much > glands, rounded. Seed 1.1-1.2 mm long, subrectangular but narrowed at distal end, 2-3 transverse ribs. Fairly common locally in this part of Nuku'alofa. Habit quite different from typical Chamaesyce hypericifolia elsewhere on Tongatapu but like CHR 282594 from Tutuila, Samoa.
