Notes:
Tree 5-6 m high. Leaves purple beneath when young, later dull green, very glossy and dark green above. Flowers ramiflorus. Corolla white; tube 8-9 mm long; lobes 1.3-2 x 0.4-0.8 cm, ± oblong, acute or apiculate, widespreading. Berry 1.3-1.8 x 4-8 mm, broadly rounded ellipsoid, glossy dark red. Cultivation relic.
