Habitat:
Moist open area opposite wharf, silty sand.
Notes:
Sedge rhizomatous and forming small clumps. Leaves canaliculate above, shining. Spikes diverging to become ± horizontal or somewhat deflexed. Spikelets strongly flattened, greenish-brown and light in colour. A small area where present.
