Leaves channeled, green/yellow; spikes still immature. Old leaf sheaths shredding, abundant. Scattered distribution along range from Haystack Hut to upper Matiri Valley. More common here on these boulder flats. Carex tag name Matiri and Carex tag name Brockie sympatric, sometimes growing next to each other.
