Tree 6-7 m high, with fairly dense rather rounded canopy. Vegetative shoots with long green spines. Leaves "lemon-scented"; veins sunken above; shining upper leaf surface. Fruit a subglobose, rough-skinned, ripe lemon c. 10-12 cm (not collected, ripe) yellow, with apical "knob".
