Notes:
Stem very short. Petioles to 40cm or more, very tough; pulvinus inconspicuous, to about 2.5cm long; lamina shining, dark green above. Spathe 13-14 x 10-12cm, including cusp at apex, broadly ovate-cordate, thick and glossy (waxy appearance), tending bullate, pink to reddish-green in fruit stage. Spadix about 9cm long, pale yellow. Fruit immersed in fleshy spadix, 5-6m long, more or less obovoid, translucent fleshy, orange. Peduncle about 55cm long, very tough.
