Notes:
Small clump, rhizomatous. Pseudostems to 25cm high. Petiole sheath long, purple-flushed often. Lamina of leaf purplish or purplish-green beneath, shining above and dark green and pinnately narked with broad pale green slashes along veins. Cultivated as this species.
