Habitat:
Top of slope facing north and bordering a pasture, beneath branches of macrocarpa cypress.
Notes:
Herb forming a fairly dense, prostrate mat, with stems trailing beyond edge of mat. Leaves more or less dark green or grey-green, thin, often truncate. Fruit immature, ? not fleshy; perianth red or green. Common in this restricted habitat.
