Habitat:
Ridge with cultivated conifers, with overhanging conifer.
Notes:
Hybrid. Small spreading tree about 2m high but squashed by overhead vegetation. Shoots dark purplish. Leaves deep shining green above with impressed veins, more or less glaucous beneath with pink midrib. Fruit 7-9mm across, flattened globose or subglobose; top flattened, glossy crimson. Possibly an old relic of cultivation. With Sykes 188/97 - CHR 513504.
