Habitat:
Roadside verge of herbs and grasses.
Notes:
Taprooted herbs. Flowering stems to nearly a metre high. Stems with dark red bulbous-based hairs. Leaves with whitish midrib. Calyx reflexing, with red bands on outside of sepals. Petals 2.4-2.7 x 2.7-3cm, broad obovate, light yellow, emarginate. Common for a few hundred metres of roadside. ? once grown in the area.
