Habitat:
Tall scrub on bank behind shore (indigenous and adventive).
Notes:
Shrub 1-1.5m high, with long vegetative shoots which are shining deep red on exposed side. Leaves with very pale brown floccose tomentum beneath when young, persisting for a long time, upper surface deep shining green with more or less indented veins. Flowers foetid, white with spreading rounded petals about 2mm diameter. Anthers purple.
