Notes:
GM 68/2. Tall rounded shrub, many trunked. Height about 3m. Twiggy. Mid-brown bark with darker brown-red raised (rough) lenticels. Leaves oval to obovate, with roundly serrate margins. Upright short petioles. Leaves varying in size 1.5cm-7cm long, opposite. Mid-green shiny upper, pale green smooth underside. Flowers male, 1cm long in thyrses at end of branchlets. Buds white tinged with pink. Flowers 5-petalled, petals small, white with occasional small red dot, opening at end of long throat. Anthers 5, deep pink. Mite damage on some leaves. Female flowers - green receptacle - tiny green petals, 0.4cm tall. Upright tall stigma - central ovary. Sheets A - D.
