Notes:
Herb with thick fleshy erect "pseudostem", a few centimetres high. Leaves with petiole sheath almost to apex of petiole; the whole leaf strongly white variegated, the white spots and patches greater than green areas, on many leaves. Spathe 6-9 cm long, similarly coloured, remaining more or less folded round spadix. Spadix 5 to 5.5 cm long, white with a small cluster of female flowers at base.
