Adventive in old settlement site.
Notes:
Succulent rosette-forming herb, reproducing by offsets vegetatively. Leaves to about 8 x 2cm, narrow triangular, shining green or dark green with irregular horizontal bands of white tubercles beneath, aristate. Scape with a few scarious-margined bracts in upper half. Pedicels orange. Perianth about 4cm long, tubular and slightly curved, otherwise actinomorphic, light orange above, greenish-white beneath; base swollen; segments with greenish keels towards apex. Filaments and style white, latter slightly > stamens. Plants (leaves and flowers) paler than usual because of being grown away from sunlight. Sheets A and B.
