Habitat:
Old building site, waste, stony, partly open ground.
Notes:
Erect herb. Leaves green, undulate, especially those on flowering stems. Capitula 7-9mm long, broadly cylindric, 7-8mm across. Piece of sterile shoot from plant alongside fertile plant. Phyllaries purple towards apex. Florets flushed pink. Scattered.
