Notes:
Cultivated in sheltered sunny site outside. Succulent subshrub, the main branches almost horizontal. Leaves tending erect, to c.4.8cm long, subterete, c.6mm wide, cylindrical, glaucous. Sepals triangular. Petals c.6mm long, yellow, oblanceolate. Stamens erect, forming a cone with the carpels. Filaments yellow, with white hair tuft basally. Plant ex Auckland Botanic Garden.

Cannot name sp. No yellow-flowered ones mentioned in literature seen, but erect cone-like stamens must put it in Ruschia.
