Habitat:
Roadside bank, blackberry and gorse scrub.
Notes:
Sapling c.2m high, pyramidal habit. Shoots dark brown. Buds cylindrical, with dark brown recurving scales. Apparently uncommon. Parents not observed although several pine species planted in vicinity.
