Habitat:
Roadside, blackberry and gorse scrub.
Notes:
Young tree c.3m high with open spreading branches. Shoots light brown, ± glaucous when young. Buds cylindrical, brown with appressed sides. Leaves in 3's, drooping. Conelet brown. Commonly adventive for a kilometre or more along road and on a steep bank behind. Parent cultivated in vicinity.
