Habitat:
Valley bottom, rocky, scrub-covered slope.
Notes:
Stems erect, stolons lacking I think. Leaves ± purple beneath, uniformly green above. Phyllaries with black shining hairs. Rays golden, to c.1.5cm long. A few plants seen. No stellate hairs seen on upper leaf surface as this species should have.
