Notes:
Succulent herb with stems creeping and rooting at nodes, tending to form a mat. Lateral branches bearing leaves erect, short. Leaves glaucous, terete (lens-shaped in transverse section) or flattened on upper side, concentrated towards apex of shoot. Uncommon and local. Inflorescence stem erect, pink. Flowers dense, drooping in bud, later erect. Petals bright yellow, 6-7 mm long by 1-1.5mm wide, narrow linear, patent. Stamens yellow, including anthers subequal to petals. Pistils pale greenish.
