Habitat:
Steep roadside bank, amongst herbs and shrubs.
Notes:
Rhizomatous subshrub. Leaves subcoriaceous, glaucous beneath. Flowers golden, almost flat, 7-8cm across; petals oblong-obovate. Only seen over a few square metres. No old house sites in the vicinity observed.
