Habitat:
On steep bank with dense shrub covering.
Notes:
Shrubs to 1m high, the slender flexuous branches often curving downwards. Young shoots brown or pinkish-brown, terete. Leaves glaucous beneath. Flowers golden, forming a shallow cup 4-6cm across. Petals to c.3.2cm long, ± broad obovate but somewhat asymmetric. Stamens golden, much < petals. Pistil pale green.
