Coast, beneath bushes behind beach.
Notes:
Cormous plant; corms not collected. Leaves distichous and stems and foliage in flattened sprays. Spikes to c.70cm high. Flowers ± secund, curving forwards. A few plants. Flower zygomorphic. Perianth to c.10cm long with shorter downwards curving ventral segment of outer whorl c.8.5cm long and the lateral lobes of the inner whorl c.8cm long, all lobes ± elliptic or rhombic-elliptic excluding narrow claw; limbs orange-red or scarlet except for yellow over much of the 3 shorter segments mentioned. Stamens and style curved; stigmas pink.
