Habitat:
Roadside, by field boundary fence, among grass and dicot weeds.
Notes:
Erect herb with greyish stems and leaves, especially undersurfaces. Capitula 3-4cm across, deep blue usually, occasionally lighter mauve-blue or whitish. Florets c.1.8cm long; corolla limb irregular; lobes 4-8mm long. From a wildflower seed sowing along the fenceline a year or two earlier. Fairly common.
