Moist grassy river flat, among Holcus and silver tussock and scattered hebe and coprosma shrubs, surrounded by beech forest.
Notes:
Erect tufts to 50cm tall in fruit; extremely abundant on this one grassy flat but not seen anywhere else in Rockburn Valley.
