Notes:
Herb with main stem suberect (young and probably would climb), clothed with brown sheaths. Leaves subcoriaceous, dark green above, dark glandular-punctate beneath. Young inflorescence with spathe, c.15x7mm, pale green, ovate-lanceolate. Spadix at anthesis c.2.5cm long, cylindric and not tapering, green, with bisexual florets all its length. Fruiting inflorescences pendant, c. 4.5x1.3cm; axis purple but hidden by the translucent white fruits 5-6mm across and flattened globose.
