Notes:
Succulent-stemmed herb with very short, thick, erect stem. Petiole winged, ± herbaceous, forming a channel above, uniformly green. Leaf lamina dark green above, with narrow irregular bands of pale grey-green or green along main lateral veins above. Inflor. +/- erect. Spathe 5.5cm long x c.3cm wide, ovate-elliptic but remaining curled forward mostly, pale yellow. Spadix lacking sterile part; distal part male, 2cm long; basal part female, c.1cm long. Young fruits shining, subglobose, 6-9mm diam. when collected. "Gynophore" c.1cm long.
