Habitat:
Old abandoned garden, by boundary fence.
Notes:
Herb to c.1m high; rhizome not collected. Leaves strongly distichous, ± sloping forward. Probably adventive. Inflorescence erect, forming a "cone" with strongly imbricated bracts. Flowers very fragrant. Corolla tube c.7.5cm long, very slender and much > calyx; the 3 lobes very narrow, 3.5-4cm long, pale green; staminodia petaloid; 3.5x1cm, oblanceolate, cream (i.e. 2 lateral ones); labellum c.3.7x2.7cm bilobed, cream. Filament c.3cm long.
