Habitat:
Cultivated behind beach on garden frontage.
Notes:
Large dense, evergreen, spreading shrub c.2m high. Leaves dark green above, scarcely shining; veins impressed; grey on lower surface. Young fruits. Slight infection by "fire blight". Very unusual for this species.
