Notes:
Thicket-forming shrub with many simple erect stems to c.2.5m high. Leaves ± in terminal clusters. Inflorescence arching downwards, its branches dark purple-black. Perianth 8-9mm long (inner whorl), light violet; lobes of inner whorl later reflexing.
