Roadside, old shrubbery margin and in adjacent long grass.
Notes:
Bulbous herb (bulb not collected) with stems 60-70cm high. Stems angled purple-spotted towards base. Flowers erect, orange or orange-red with a few dark red spots inside, pale, outside; tepals 8.5-9.5x2.4-3.3cm, oblong-elliptic, recurving distally; claw ± pinkish. Filaments crimson or pink. Stipe pink; stigmas purplish. 2 or 3 plants only.
