Notes:
Shrub c.1m high with ± succulent stems and membranous leaves which are pale glaucescent beneath and with whitish midrib on both sides. Stems becoming bare except towards apex. Cyathia with prominent rounded brownish subreniform glands. Young fruits subglobose, with elongated, obtuse processes.
