Rhizomes thick, green with brown scales, long creeping over ground or up tree trunks. Fronds ± erect, glossy (stipes and pinnae). Sori deeply impressed, leaving a prominent rounded pustule on upper surface. Fertile fronds mainly on climbing shoots. Abundant.
