Habitat:
Forest on east face, beneath summit.
Notes:
Tree c.10m high. Trunk smooth. Leaves with reddish petioles; lamina ± glaucescent beneath; main veins cream or pale green. Male catkins erect, ± yellow. Ovary and capsule 3 or 4-angled. Uncommon. Wood sample obtained.
