In open fern where Mysore thorn recently killed.
Notes:
Small tree c.10m high, very spiny; on trunk and main branches as well as vegetative shoots. Shoots very flattened and ridged. Leaves orange-scented, deep glossy green above, pale green beneath. Fruit pendulous, 7.5-8x6-7cm, flattened, globose; skin orange (bright); flesh orange, sweet. Cultivation relic. .
