Notes:
First time I have observed rust here on this host, which only appeared in Christchurch in recent years. Many plants infested and distorted. Appears 2 stages of rust-orange and black. Sori on both surfaces of leaves. Rust seems absent from phyllaries, but on stems to base of capitula. Part of gathering to Landcare Herbarium, Lincoln, & Dr. A.D. Thomson. Main portion to Dr. Eric McKenzie.
