Notes:
Small tree c. 4 m high, dense habit, thorny. Shoots rough with small raised lenticels. Fruits globose, c. 4.5 cm diameter, extremely hard, deep green.
Specimen notes
Supplementary remarks:
Difficult to reconcile fruits and leaves from same plant. Yet a fairly isolated tree near Ara Metua, Constitutional Park area.
