Notes:
Stems creeping extensively and covering large area. Leaves with pale grey-green or grey areas in vein axils, otherwise lamina deep green. Corolla 10.5-13 cm long (female flowers) or 7.5-9.5 cm long (male flowers), yellow inside, greenish outside in lower parts, soon withering. Anther column 1.7-2.2 cm. Fruit to c. 21 x 20 cm when mature, broadly ovoid, green and white mottled; pedicel not thickened. Calyx of female flowers ± pinnatisect, that of male flowers entire and 2.5-3 cm long, whereas female calyx lobes are 5.5-7 cm long. This is a common form and often ± adventive here.
