Notes:
Tap-rooted herb with tough stems 50-60 cm high. Corolla very irregular; limb of wings 10-14 mm diameter, suborbicular, held at almost right angles to each other. Keel whitish, curled. A small patch c. 1 m across. Standard of corolla 14-16 mm long, including very short claw, x c. 12 mm wide, greenish-white, flushed purplish or pale plum-coloured entirely, bilobed; keel small and twisted.
