Coral rubble bank, on crest, among tall shrubs.
Notes:
Small tree 2.5-3 m high, much branched with fairly dense spiny habit, although these absent from main trunk. Spines on older wood long. Leaves submembranous or subsucculent (on exposed shoots), shining above. One tree only. One fruit found floating nearby in lagoon may or may not have originated from this tree, which otherwise had no reproductive parts. Fruit 2.5 x 2 cm, ± broad oblong, yellow.
