Coast, entrance of small gully through coral rubble.
Notes:
Succulent shrub with stems to c. 2 m high, the leaves becoming much smaller towards apex. No reproductive parts but these occur at other times of the year. A fairly dense stand of 8-10 square metres extent. Leaves thick and forming a deep channel, green above, pale pinkish or pale green beneath, with dark brown blotches and flecks. Marginal crenations dark brown-lined. No adventitious plantlets seen although these must occur at another season because there were numerous little plantlets growing around.
