Notes:
Low, but more or less erect herb, stained pinkish red, especially on stems. Tepals of female flowers 5, stigma 2-tipped, tepals cuspidate. Inflorescence stained pinkish red, main inflorescences to 15cm long. Fruit circumscissile. Seeds black, finely reticulate, glossy. Plants appear plainly distinct from A. deflexus adjacent.
