Notes:
Large clump-forming herb, very aromatic; stems c.1m high. Leaves with purplish petiole; lamina ± rugose with indented veins above. Corolla dull yellow, c.7mm long, 2-lipped; lobes ± recurved, especially the larger middle lobe of the lower lip which lies almost flat and pointing backwards to base of tube. Corolla puberulent outside and with ring of hairs beneath stamen insertion inside. Stamens slightly exerted; anthers purple. Style 6-7 mm long, purple towards apex; stigmas purple. Style gynobasic.
