Habitat:
Steep old scree, among small boulders, vegetation very sparse.
Notes:
Herb with wooly greenish-white leaves which are recurved at apices. Phyllaries blackish-brown in upper part. Florets pale green, overtopped and obscured by dense white pappus. Common but scattered in this habitat.
