Habitat:
Valley bottom, stream bank. In dense Muehlenbeckia, Fuchsia thicket.
Notes:
Vine with slender twining stems. Leaves bright green. Flowers scarlet; three larger petals, 1.8-2.3cm long; including filiform claw; the limb broad rectangular, bilobed towards apex. Lower two petals 1.5-2.1cm long, oblanceolate, emarginate. Filaments pinkish-red. Sepals greenish-red or red with green margin; spur 2.5-2.7cm long; basal half swollen. Several small patches.
