Notes:
Small trees 3-5m high, with rather dense and thorny habit. Leaves shining, deep green above, paler beneath. Fruits 7-8mm long, ± broad ellipsoid, glossy dark red, becoming black. Abundant on this terrace. Specimens from several trees.
